Native American Removal
Trail of tears
Trail of tears

At the beginning of the 1830s president Jackson had begun the Native American Removal Act. The Removal act allowed the states to relocate the natives within the states to areas not controlled by the United States. there was one group that fought through the courts the Cherokee in Georgia had went to the supreme court and even though they had the president against them they won. Unfortunately Jackson did not enforce the law from the supreme court his words were "Marshall has made his opinion now let him enforce it."
